The event. Bake for Hope is a week long, nation-wide, 100% volunteer-run, bake sale event happening, May 2nd - 8th, the week before Mother's Day. Proceeds donated to local Susan G. Komen for the Cure affiliates.
The purpose. to show our love, honor, and support for the mothers and women everywhere. This was designed for everyone to participate in giving back, from kids to seniors, businesses to individuals, and have fun while doing it.
Join. Participation is easy and free. Volunteer as a bake sale Organizer, Baker, or Communicator. Businesses can participate as location hosts, organize team sales and bakeries and businesses can sponsor in a variety of ways and everyone can Donate or Attend!
What's great. This is a true grass roots effort. There is no budget, no big financial sponsors (yet), just an idea with a purpose to connect an incredible community of givers who want to participate in giving back. Our first year had incredible success and we are excited for what is to come! Thank you for your support!

We had over 70 sales nationwide and hundreds of suppporters for our 2009 event! Together we raised almost 30k dollars!
